RAIL CARRIER

Oil is delivered to the refinery from the Nizhneomrinsk deposit located in the Komi Republic. The cargo runs a distance of 1930 kilometers, so the railway is the best way to deliver large volumes of raw materials.

Oil.Vision will invest ¥ 1 000 000 000 [ $ 9 000 000 ] to establish a rail carrier company Oil.Vision Cargo which will take over the functions of organizing and controlling the transportation of raw materials. Oil.Vision Cargo will deliver crude oil and finished products within Russia and to other countries as part of a one-time order and on a permanent contractual basis with a precise delivery schedule.

The company is planning to purchase four fully equipped rolling stocks, each including a main locomotive and 60 oil tank cars. In total, the rail car fleet will include:

  • 2 shunting locomotives

  • 4 main-line locomotives

  • 240 oil tank cars

Our own rail car fleet will ensure the stable raw materials delivery schedule, and the savings on the lease of the rolling stock will reduce overall costs and increase the profitability of the project. The costs of purchasing railway equipment are comparable with a two-year lease of similar equipment.

Oil.Vision Cargo rail carrier

Raw materials are delivered to the Moloskovitsy refinery from the Nizhneomrinsk deposit located in the Komi Republic. The cargo runs a distance of 1930 kilometers, so the railway is the best way for delivering large volumes of crude oil.

For the purposes of delivery of raw materials and transportations of finished products, we create a rail carrier Oil.Vision Cargo, the participant of the Oil.Vision project.  By taking over the functions of organization and control over transportation, Oil.Vision Cargo will deliver crude oil and finished products within Russia and to other countries as part of a one-time order and on a permanent contractual basis with a precise delivery schedule.  The company’s rolling stock will be available for the lease. Freight of the rolling stock will be available in full or in parts.

The company is planning to purchase four fully equipped rolling stocks, each including a main locomotive and 60 oil tank cars. In total, the rail car fleet will include:

  • 4 main-line locomotives
  • 240 oil tank cars
  • 2 shunting locomotives

Oil.Vision Cargo will send shunting locomotives to the initial and final points of the route in order to speed up the work with the cargo at the stages of sending and receiving.

Our own rail car fleet will ensure the stable raw materials delivery schedule, and the savings on the lease of the rolling stock will reduce overall costs and increase the profitability of the project. The costs of purchasing railway equipment are comparable with a two-year lease of similar equipment. At the same time, after covering its costs,  the rail car fleet can bring profit to the company through leasing and services for local and international transportation.
